Hey everyone, I've been thinking a lot about Phillip Villegas lately, and just wanted to share some reflections. Being a supervisor at the unemployment office, he must have been such a crucial support for so many people who came through those doors, seeking help during tough times. It's so difficult to comprehend how someone so dedicated to helping others could be taken away like this. I can only imagine the pain his family and coworkers must feel, knowing that Phillip was just doing his job, making a difference in people's lives when this senseless act of violence occurred. It makes me wonder how our communities can be better protected, not just in physical safety but also in supporting mental health before it reaches such tragic ends. Does anyone have any insight on how these events affected workplace safety measures afterward? I really hope some good came from the unspeakable events of that day. Thinking of all the victims and their families. Stay safe, everyone.
