I've been thinking a lot about the Grendel P-12 pistol that was used in the tragic murders of Dr. Tsunao Saitoh and his daughter Loullie. Given its rarity, it's surprising that the gun has never been recovered, especially after such a comprehensive search by the authorities. Has anyone looked into whether there were any recent sales or thefts of this specific model around the time of the murders? It seems like tracing any potential changes in ownership could yield some clues. My heart goes out to the Saitoh family and the friends who loved them. They deserve answers, and I hope this detail will one day help bring them some peace.
Hello all,
I’ve been reading a lot about the Saitoh case lately and something keeps nagging at me. It’s about the rare Grendel P-12 that was used in the murder. Does anyone know how widely this gun was distributed back in the '90s? Given its scarcity, I would think tracing its owners might give investigators some leads. Was it something collectors would have gone after, or was it more likely owned by someone with a different purpose in mind? It's been frustrating to see such a crucial piece in the puzzle lead to a dead end.
I can’t begin to imagine what Dr. Saitoh's family and his colleagues must be going through, especially knowing that justice hasn’t been served all these years. Hoping that someday there's a breakthrough in this case. If anybody has any info or theories, I would love to hear them. It’s heartbreaking that a family could be shattered like this without any answers.
Stay safe everyone.
