On the evening of May 8, 1996, Dr. Tsunao Saitoh, a prominent neuroscientist at UC San Diego, and his 13-year-old daughter, Loullie Saitoh, were tragically murdered in their driveway in San Diego, California. The father and daughter had just returned home from Dr. Saitoh's research lab when they were ambushed by unknown assailants.
