Has anyone delved into the background of Reynaldo Rodriguez? The fact that he was a civil engineer really makes me wonder what might have been going on beneath the surface. To be in such a stable profession and yet commit such a horrendous act is baffling. Mental health may be a key factor here. His misguided belief and subsequent actions make me think he wasn't in the right state of mind. It's so tragic that Esperanza and those kids were caught up in his unraveling. I can't imagine what Maria and the rest of the family are going through, losing loved ones so suddenly to someone they once let into their lives. Does anyone have insights into possible warning signs that may have been overlooked? Maybe understanding these could prevent future tragedies.
