I've been thinking about how it must have felt for Deputy Maria Cecilia Rosa in those intense moments of the robbery. It's so unsettling to realize that even law enforcement officers, trained and prepared for so much, are vulnerable in situations like this. The fact that Rosa's service weapon jammed at such a critical moment is just devastating. It’s a reminder of how unpredictable and cruel life can be. My heart goes out to her loved ones who have to carry this deep sense of loss. It must be incredibly painful knowing she was doing everything she could to protect herself and it just wasn't enough. She seemed like such a dedicated and courageous individual, and it's so unjust that her life was cut short in this way.
