I wanted to express how deeply saddening it is to hear about McDonald Carey's case. It's so troubling to realize that even with multiple witnesses around, justice still feels out of reach for his family and friends. The fear of gang retaliation makes it difficult for anyone to come forward, but we can only hope that time will bring out the truth. It's important for the community to remember that every small detail can make a difference, and sharing information anonymously is always an option. My thoughts are with Carey's family and the other victims still recovering from that night. It's a somber reminder of the need to fight against the violence ripping communities apart. Stay safe, everyone.
I've been following the case of McDonald Carey, and it just feels so frustrating and sad. I can't imagine the pain his family and friends must be enduring with so many questions still unanswered. It's like he went to a party and never came home, which is supposed to be a joyful occasion, not end in tragedy. I wonder how it feels for the other four victims too, knowing they survived but another didn't. Has there been any discussion about increased support or counseling for those who were at the party and witnessed this awful event? I hope the community can come together to push for as many resources as possible to prevent something like this from happening again. The fear among locals must be overwhelming, and it's crucial that anyone with information feels safe enough to report it. For Carey's sake and for the sake of everyone living with this uncertainty, something needs to change.
