Hey everyone, I’ve been following Ashlee Walker’s case for a while now, and I keep thinking about the role her friends played in getting justice for her. It must have been incredibly difficult for them, not only because of the trauma they experienced but also having to testify against someone they probably never imagined being entangled with in such a way. Their courage to come forward and provide the crucial testimony against Dashawn Cooper speaks volumes about their strength and love for Ashlee. It’s unfortunate that they’re often in the background of the discussions, but I think their bravery is something really worth acknowledging. Being faced with such a terrible situation and still finding the resolve to stand up in court must have taken a massive toll on them emotionally. But their actions helped ensure that justice was served for Ashlee, which couldn't have been easy. Let’s keep sending thoughts of strength to them, Ashlee’s family, and everyone else who was touched by her story. ?
