Does anyone else feel like there wasn't enough attention given to the time it took for the police to arrive and secure the area after Jimmy's shooting? I read that after the incident on Gridley Street, it took a while for any significant leads to develop. I understand that late-night crimes can be chaotic and witnesses might be scarce, but for such a tight-knit neighborhood, it seems odd that there were no immediate suspects or clues. This happened in 2014, and it's disheartening to think about the lack of progress. Jimmy had such a promising future ahead, and his family deserves answers. It's upsetting to think about how much time has passed with so little information. Has there been any new community push or effort to keep this case in the public eye? Any local vigils or events to help gather more attention? Keeping Jimmy and his family in my thoughts.

I’ve been following the tragic case of Jimmy Copas Jr., and something that's really been on my mind is the heartbreak his family must be feeling, especially with no closure in sight. It’s devastating to think about how his young son will grow up without his dad, and how this senseless act of violence has left such a deep void in their lives. I’m particularly curious about the area around Gridley Street where the shooting occurred. Was it considered a high-risk area for crime back in 2014? I'm wondering if any neighbors saw or heard anything unusual that night. It’s just so frustrating that no suspects have been identified all these years later. I can't imagine the pain for his family not knowing why this happened or who is responsible. Sending strength and hopes for justice to everyone affected by this tragedy.

Hey everyone, I’ve been following the Jimmy Copas Jr. case for a while now, and something that sticks out to me is how quickly his life was taken just yards from his front door. It's gut-wrenching to think how a trip to the gas station with his wife could end so tragically. As a father myself, I can’t imagine the pain his family is going through, especially knowing his toddler will grow up without his dad. I’ve been reading up a lot on similar cases nearby, wondering if there might be a connection that hasn’t been disclosed yet. There were other incidents in the area where it seemed like people were targeted as they arrived home. Does anyone else think there could be a pattern the police might be overlooking? It’s frustrating not having those answers yet, and I hope someday his family finds the justice they deserve. If anyone has more information or a different perspective, please share. This community has been really good at piecing things together, and who knows, we might uncover something that could help bring some peace to his loved ones. Stay safe out there.
