I've been following the case of Arthur and Charlene Johnson closely, and I find myself really puzzled about something. Why were they so far from their original location when the boat was found? From the debris being only half a mile away from the harbor, you'd think it would be easier to locate the boat right away. But to be upside down on a sandbar over five miles out? Did they encounter a storm or something? It just seems odd that the distance between their starting point and where they were found is so vast—and it's hard to wrap my head around why no one spotted the boat sooner. Could there have been any communication or mechanical issues that caused this detour? I'm just tossing out ideas, but something about the whole situation seems off to me.
