I've been following Nekolas Evans' case closely, and it genuinely perplexes me that there have been no major leads or arrests after all this time. It's deeply frustrating and must be incredibly painful for his family to still be waiting for answers nearly eight years later. I was rereading some articles, and something caught my attention that I think may be worth discussing: the location of the crime. The intersection of South 26th Street and Cutting Boulevard isn't exactly isolated. It's a busy area with a decent amount of foot and vehicle traffic, not to mention nearby businesses. I'm wondering if anyone on here might have more insight into whether any security cameras in the vicinity were ever reviewed? It seems odd that there wouldn't be any footage capturing something, anything that might give a clue about what happened that day. Maybe someone in the community or a passerby saw a vehicle speeding away but didn't put two and two together at the time? Or are there any businesses around that might not have been checked initially but have since updated their systems or retained older footage? Any little detail could make a difference. My heart goes out to Nekolas' loved ones. They deserve closure, and we owe it to them to keep this story alive and hope for justice finally being served.
