It's hard to imagine the pain Gerrik's family must be going through, especially his mother, Demicha. I can't stop thinking about the fact that she was on the phone with him just before he was shot. The connection between a mother and her child is incredible, and this must feel like such an unimaginable loss. It's so important that we come together as a community to support them and do what we can to help solve this tragedy. If anyone out there knows something, even the tiniest detail, please step forward. Gerrik was just a young man trying to make a better life for himself. He deserved to pursue his dreams and live in safety. Let's all hope and push for justice in his memory.
