Has anyone looked into whether there was any unusual weather or tidal activity reported that day before the storm actually hit? I've read that tides and currents can be unpredictable, especially between Maine and New Hampshire. I wonder if something unusual might have caused Robert to get caught in unexpected conditions. Also, while his boat was found anchored, is it possible he was trying to set his anchor in a hurry because of some sudden shift in conditions? It just seems odd that a seasoned boater like Robert, someone who knew those waters so well, went missing without any sign of distress. I've seen some cases where unexpected rogue waves caused tragic accidents. It might be far-fetched, but when we're missing hard evidence, sometimes theories like these are worth considering. Any opinions?

Anyone else find it curious that Robert Schultze's boat, *The Cat’s Meow*, was found anchored? Most people would drift if they fell overboard, especially in rough seas, right? It's as if he intended to stop there for some reason. He had wetsuits on board, but maybe he actually did get into the water for something, maybe even willingly. Was there something that drew him to that specific spot between Maine and New Hampshire? Maybe he saw something in the water and anchored to check it out? It's just perplexing considering he was experienced and knew how to handle himself out there. Would love to hear what others think, especially those familiar with the area or ocean fishing practices.
