Has anyone here ever driven through the area where Keyon Lamar Childs was tragically killed? I'm trying to understand what the neighborhood is like, especially around the time the incident occurred. I've read that it happened on East Slauson Avenue, and I'm curious if there were any security cameras or local businesses that might have noticed something. It seems like such a busy area, you’d think there would be more witnesses or footage available. My heart goes out to Keyon's family and friends—I can't imagine the pain of not having answers after all this time. If anyone has insights or remembers anything about that day, even the tiniest detail could help reignite hope for justice.

I’ve been following Keyon Childs' case, and something that really bothers me is how the shooting happened in the middle of the day. It was 1:30 p.m.—broad daylight, on a weekday. With the busy nature of East Slauson Avenue, I just can’t wrap my head around how there aren’t more witnesses who came forward. It must have been a terrifying scene, and I feel for those who knew Keyon, as well as the two others in the car. It also makes me think about how such violence affects neighborhoods long term. People who might have seen something could fear coming forward, but I hope someone who knows anything finds the courage to help bring justice and peace to Keyon’s loved ones.

Does anyone know if there were any surveillance cameras in the area where Keyon was shot? It seems surprising that such a busy location wouldn't have caught something on tape. I’ve been thinking maybe nearby businesses or traffic cams could have picked up the van or even the license plate. With so many people around, it’s hard to believe there’s no footage that could help identify the suspects. My heart goes out to Keyon’s family, who must be longing for answers and some sense of justice. If anyone has updates or ideas on how the community could support the investigation or remember Keyon, please share.
