I just came across Alex Goodwin's case again, and I can't help but think about the role his community can play in finding justice for him. It's clear that Alex was much loved, not only by his family but also by friends and neighbors. The mural his family created on their home serves as a powerful reminder of his life and the talent he had. But it also feels like a call to action. Every person that walks by it is presented with the chance to remember and spread the word about his story. I wonder if more community events or gatherings might help generate new leads or catch the attention of someone who knows something but hasn't come forward yet. If anyone here is from Berkeley or knows the area, do you think more awareness campaigns or vigils could make a difference? Sometimes public memory is short, but keeping Alex's story alive might be the key to uncovering new information. Every effort counts, and it feels like the community really could be pivotal in bringing closure to his family. It's so important for them—and for Alex—to have answers and see justice served.
