Hey everyone, I've been following the tragic case of Giovanni Hernandez, and one detail that's been really bothering me is how someone like Salevi Levi, a former assistant freshman football coach, could be involved in something so violent. It's so unsettling to think about the kind of role models our kids have. Clearly, there were two sides to this person, and it makes me wonder what might have led him down such a dark path. My heart goes out to Giovanni's family, who deserved so much better. If anything, I hope this case encourages deeper reflections on community safety and the influences on young adults. Anyone else have thoughts on how someone in Levi's position could end up charged in such a horrific crime?

I've been following Giovanni Hernandez's case for a while now, and something that's been on my mind is the impact this must have had on the students at Archbishop Riordan High School. Can you imagine how shocking it would be for them to find out their assistant coach was involved in such a heinous act? Salevi Levi was someone they must have looked up to and trusted. I really feel for those students who might be struggling to reconcile their experiences with him as their coach and the serious nature of these charges. It must be difficult for them to process this news, especially considering some might have developed personal relationships with him. It's such a hard thing to grasp when someone you see in a position of leadership is suddenly implicated in a crime like this. My thoughts are not only with Giovanni's family and friends but also with the young people who are likely grappling with a complicated mix of emotions right now.
