I've been following the discussion about Sor Rith, and something that's really been on my mind is the impact this tragedy had on the neighborhood, especially near Kennedy Elementary School. It's deeply unsettling to think that such violence can erupt so close to a place where children learn and play. I imagine the families living nearby must have been terrified, and it's hard not to think about how differently that night could have ended if things had been just slightly different. I feel for Sor’s family and neighbors who had their sense of safety shattered. It’s important for the community to come together to support one another and demand changes that will prevent things like this from happening again. Does anyone here live near that area, or remember the community response in the aftermath? It would be helpful to understand how these events ripple through the everyday lives of those who were close to it.

Hey everyone, I was thinking about the unbearable pain Sor Rith's family must be going through, especially after how far he came to find peace. It's such a sobering thought that after surviving the horrors of war, he became another victim of senseless violence in his own home. What's really haunting is how quickly life can change — he was just on a phone call, probably catching up with a friend or family member, then suddenly he's gone. I can't imagine the shock and trauma of his loved ones hearing that news. It's just so infuriating that gun violence continues to rip communities and families apart like this. Sor Rith's case really underscores how important it is for anyone with information to speak up. His family deserves answers and peace. Hoping they find justice soon. Keep them in your thoughts. ?
