Has anyone else heard about the concern surrounding witness intimidation in Reginald Blackburn Jr.'s case? It's truly alarming to think that witnesses had to face threats, to the point that one was hesitant to testify. This aspect really underlines how challenging it is for the community to seek justice. I can't imagine how terrified those witnesses and Blackburn's family might have felt. It's like a double tragedy—not only losing a loved one but then facing barriers to holding those responsible accountable. It makes me wonder how many other cases go unresolved or inadequately addressed due to these threats. How can people feel safe to step forward? Sending strength to his family and others in Oakland trying to combat violence and intimidation.
