It's so incredibly upsetting to think about what Carolyn Cagey must have gone through in those final moments, especially considering the brutal nature of the attack. I can't help but wonder about the connection between her and Milton Trujillo. Did they know each other well, or was this just a chance encounter? The fact she pulled over after recognizing someone suggests some familiarity. The San Diego County Sheriff's Department and the regional Fugitive Task Force deserve recognition for apprehending Trujillo so quickly, but there's a part of me that just keeps thinking about how Carolyn's family and friends have to process everything. To have their loved one taken away in such a violent manner and then to hear details about drugs and substance abuse must be beyond difficult. While we wait for more information to come out during the trial, my heart goes out to Carolyn’s community on the Pala Indian Reservation. They’ve lost someone important, and my hope is that they find some healing amidst all the sadness and that justice is truly served.

Did anyone else notice the eerie timing of the arrest in Carolyn Cagey’s case? It’s remarkable how quickly the authorities were able to track down and arrest Milton Trujillo, just hours after the tragic event. I can’t help but wonder if there was some kind of tip-off that led to his capture so swiftly. It’s both reassuring and concerning at the same time. While it’s great to see justice being pursued quickly, it also makes me ponder about what went on that we don't know about. Was there prior knowledge or history between them that helped expedite the arrest? My heart aches for Carolyn’s family as they go through this ordeal, and I truly hope the trial brings them some measure of peace and clarity.
