Has anyone else been following the details around Hecktor Vincent Lozano’s tragic case? I’ve been thinking a lot about the location where the shooting happened. The 1200 block of Locust Street is a residential area, right? I can't wrap my head around it. How does something like this happen so close to home where families and kids are living their daily lives? It must be incredibly hard for those who live there, feeling the impact of such a senseless act of violence in their own neighborhoods.
I really hope there are people who saw or heard something that night and might find the courage to come forward. I can't imagine what Hecktor’s family is going through, losing someone they love and not having answers. This kind of thing shakes up the community and reminds us all about the importance of looking out for each other and keeping our neighborhoods safe. Here's hoping for a breakthrough soon.
I've been thinking a lot about Hecktor Vincent Lozano's case and how deeply it has impacted his family and our community.
