I've been following the tragic case of Jorge Ortega Gonzalez, and something that’s been on my mind is the impact of his death on his family. From what I’ve gathered, his loved ones were the ones who found him bleeding and unresponsive. I can’t even begin to imagine the shock and trauma they experienced in that moment. It’s heartbreaking to think about what they must be going through, especially knowing that Jorge’s life was cut short in such a violent way.
I read that there was no sign of robbery, which seems to make this whole situation even more puzzling. If the motive wasn't theft, it makes you wonder about the other circumstances surrounding his death. With Jason Felix’s arrest, I hope there’s some comfort for the family knowing that the police might be closer to finding answers.
Does anyone know if there have been any updates or statements from Jorge's family since Jason Felix's arrest? It must be incredibly hard to deal with the media attention while they're grieving. Peace and strength to them during this difficult time.

Jorge Ortega Gonzalez's murder is such a devastating event, especially when you consider the suddenness and the void it left in his family's life. I've read several reports now that mention how his family found him and called for help—it must have been immensely difficult for them. Just thinking about how his loved ones will have to carry this memory is so sad.
I also find it unsettling that Jason Felix, who was linked to the crime, was apprehended so far away in Utah with a firearm and drugs in his car. It raises so many questions about his movements and whether he was already fleeing to avoid capture, or if there’s more about his connection to Gonzalez that we don’t yet know. The fact that they think it was a drug trade gone wrong makes you wonder if there are others involved that haven’t been identified yet. Hopefully, with the information law enforcement is gathering, they'll be able to fill in all the blanks.
It’s a reminder of the dangerous world Gonzalez was part of and how these choices can have such tragic consequences. Sending strength and thoughts to Jorge's family as they seek justice and answers in this difficult time.
