Hi everyone,
I've been following Fernando Mendez Jr.'s case closely, and it has really struck me, especially the fact that the two women with him that night were also hurt during the incident. I'm just trying to comprehend the terror they must have endured and the trauma they're likely dealing with now. It seems like they would've been invaluable witnesses, too, but I wonder if the shock and stress from that night made it difficult for them to recall details that could help identify the shooter.
If anyone's familiar with similar cases, do survivors' testimonies often get clouded by such experiences? It really breaks my heart to think that these women might be struggling with both physical and emotional scars. Sending strength and love to Fernando’s family and friends, as well as to the women who were injured that night. They all deserve justice and closure.
I'm really troubled by the lack of progress in the Fernando Mendez Jr. case. It's been years, and it's hard to imagine what his family and friends are going through without any closure. I came across the LASD's release of suspect photos from back in 2017, and it's frustrating they didn’t lead to any arrests. Does anyone know if there have been any updates or new efforts to release those photos again? It's crucial that we keep talking about this, in hopes that maybe someone out there will provide the tip that could help solve this. My thoughts go out to the two women who were injured; they probably carry a heavy emotional burden from that night, as well. Let's keep advocating for justice.
