Just thinking about the role of medication in the Rafferty case. It's really unsettling to consider how James's cancer treatment and heavy medication could have influenced his mental state. Pain and medication can do terrible things to the mind, and it's beyond sad that this could have happened to such a lovely couple who were adored by their neighbors. It's hard not to wonder if there were any warning signs that might have been missed. This is a tough reminder about the importance of mental health support for individuals dealing with severe illnesses and their caregivers. My heart goes out to Kazuko and the whole Otay Mesa community who must still be reeling from this loss.
