Has anyone considered the impact the loss of Kaamilya has had on the New Orleans community, especially those who were at the parade that day? Being there with my own family, I can't even imagine the trauma her family and others must feel. Ms. K was such a beacon of hope and joy, dedicating her life to helping kids with autism and dreaming of becoming a lawyer. It breaks my heart to think of young Neamiah growing up without his mom. I truly hope the ongoing efforts like the ceasefire initiative bring us closer to answers and justice. It’s crucial we keep talking about this and keep her memory alive. Stay strong, New Orleans. ? #JusticeForKaamilya #BlackMenOfLabor
I was reading about Kaamilya Muhammad's tragic case today, and it's just so heartbreaking to think how a joyous occasion turned into such a nightmare. One thing that really struck me was her selfless nature—working as a caretaker for children with autism and dreaming of a law career. It always seems like the people with the brightest futures are taken from us too soon.
It's devastating that her murder still remains unsolved after all these years. I can only imagine how her family feels, especially her mom and son who are left without answers. The community's efforts, like the ceasefire initiative, are admirable, but it highlights the ongoing issue of violence that needs more attention and action.
I hope that one day someone will step forward with information that could give Kaamilya's family the closure they desperately need. For anyone out there who might know something, even the smallest detail could be the key to solving this. Thoughts and prayers are with her family and community.
Hey everyone,
I’ve been thinking lately about the heartbreaking case of Kaamilya Muhammad and wanted to bring up something that’s been bothering me. It’s been over a decade, and although they found a .40 caliber handgun at the scene of the crime, it seems like it led absolutely nowhere. ? How is it possible, with today’s forensic technology, that this crucial piece of evidence hasn’t yielded any results?
I feel for Kaamilya’s family and friends—it must be so frustrating knowing there was potentially such a key clue available. Are they still processing it with the new tech we have now, or has it just been sitting in an evidence room? My heart truly goes out to Neamiah and Kaamilya’s mother. It’s unfathomable to think about the pain they continue to endure.
Does anyone have more insights on how this evidence might be revisited, or if there's any new hope for the case now that technology has advanced? I really hope someone, somewhere, can provide the breakthrough needed to find justice for Kaamilya.
