Seeing that Ryan was a student at City College with dreams of becoming a barber makes this entire situation even more tragic. It hits close to home, imagining a young person with their whole life ahead, working towards something they're passionate about, only to have it ripped away so senselessly. I lived near that area for years, and it's hard to reconcile that such violence could occur in what feels like my own backyard.
I wonder if there could be any more surveillance footage from nearby businesses or homes to provide leads. It's 2023 now, and I hope that with advances in technology, there's a better chance to piece together those missing parts of that night. Imagine the possibilities if someone out there checked their old footage again or if more people came forward. Rest in peace, Ryan. My thoughts are with the Sacdalan family and all who knew him; I can't imagine the pain they're still enduring. Let's hope for a breakthrough soon. ?
I wanted to focus on the reward aspect of Ryan Sacdalan's case. It's great to see the San Francisco Police Department offering a $100,000 reward for information, but it's really tough to know that even this hasn't brought in any substantial leads. It feels like such a significant amount should be enough to jog someone's memory or convince someone to come forward. There's always that hope that someone knows something—they might be afraid to speak up, but maybe this incentive could be what pushes them in the right direction. My heart goes out to Ryan's family, especially since they’re left without answers while this investigation drags on. It's so hard to think about how they must feel knowing that whoever did this is still out there. Let's hope this reward brings about some much-needed developments soon. I just wish the best for his family and hope they find the closure they need.
I just came across this case again, and it’s so tragic that Ryan Sacdalan's family is still without answers. It makes me think of how tight-knit the Outer Sunset District community is and how incidents like this can really ripple throughout. I was reading that Ryan was studying to become a barber, which is such a personal and community-focused career. It's heartbreaking to imagine the positive impact he could have had on so many lives.
While the police are offering a substantial reward, it seems like no one has come forward with critical information. This makes me wonder how much more could be uncovered if anyone who knows something overcame their fear of speaking up. If anyone here is local or familiar with the area, what’s the general sentiment throughout the community now? Are there still discussions about this case, or has it faded from public attention over the years? Any insight would be greatly appreciated.
