I can't stop thinking about how senselessly Jerry's life was cut short. As someone who has lived in LA all my life, it's terrifying to hear about these acts of violence happening right in our neighborhoods. It must be incredibly hard for his family not having closure or justice for Jerry's tragic death. It's really important, I think, for our community to come together to support each other and help bring some light to these dark situations. I keep hoping for a breakthrough in this case and that someone will come forward with crucial information. Until this happens, let's send all of our love and strength to Jerry's loved ones. If anyone has ideas on how residents can foster a safer environment in areas like Arlington Heights, I would love to hear them. We all deserve to live in a place where we feel secure and protected.
I can’t stop thinking about how Jerry was just getting off work when this happened. It’s so unsettling to realize he was just trying to head home, standing alone on that street. It’s so disturbing to hear about Jerry’s case still being unsolved. I can't help but think about how vulnerable someone is right outside their workplace, especially in a familiar area where they should feel safe. Jerry had his entire life ahead of him, and it’s devastating to imagine the pain his family must be going through, not only because of their loss but also because there are still no answers.
