I've been following Jeremiah Claiborne's case, and something that's really stuck with me is how much his kids have gone through. It's hard to imagine growing up without a parent, especially knowing that their father was taken away so senselessly. Jeremiriyah and Jamilah deserve to know what happened, and they deserve justice for their dad. I hope that someone out there who knows something will finally come forward. No family should have to live with unanswered questions for so long. My heart goes out to them, and I hope the police can shed some light on this case soon. It's a reminder of how much work still needs to be done to address violence in New Orleans and ensure families aren't left waiting indefinitely.
