Hi everyone, Has anyone else been following the case of Major Bonner III? I was reading about it today and couldn't help but think about the challenges his family must be facing, not only dealing with their loss but also the frustration of not having those responsible brought to justice. It's been over a decade now, and it hurts to think that his children are growing up without their dad and without answers. It's unsettling how violence has left so many cases unsolved in New Orleans. I can't imagine how discouraging it must feel for his loved ones every time they hear about advancements in technology that have solved cold cases elsewhere, yet still no closer to answers for Major’s case. I'm curious if anyone has seen recent articles or announcements from the police about reopening or reviewing these cold cases? Maybe with public pressure or renewed interest, Major's case might see some developments. It would mean so much to his family and the community who cared about him. Sending my thoughts to anyone who knew Major, and hoping for justice someday.
