I've been thinking a lot about the unsolved case of Jordan Holmes, and one thing that sticks with me is the broader context of violence in Oakland at that time. It was such a dangerous year, with so many lives lost—85 homicides is a staggering number! It's simply tragic that individuals like Jordan are caught up in this wave of violence. It makes me worry about the impact on his family and close friends, constantly grappling with the loss while having no answers or sense of justice. It's so important for the community to step up and help law enforcement gather any crucial details, no matter how small. Every piece of information could potentially lead to some closure for those who knew and loved Jordan. My heart goes out to them as they continue to search for answers.
