I’ve been following Brandon Compton’s case closely, and one thing that’s sticking with me is the location. I used to live near Dennison Lane, and it’s crazy to think something like this could happen so close to Foothill High School. I can’t even imagine how this has impacted the students and staff there, knowing such a violent act occurred just around the corner. It's a reminder of how gun violence can affect whole communities, not just those directly involved. I really hope the community steps up and someone comes forward with information; Brandon’s family deserves closure, and the public needs reassurance that something is being done to address these kinds of tragedies. If anyone has insight into how the neighborhood is dealing with this, I’d be interested to hear your thoughts. Stay safe, everyone.
