I’ve been following the McHugh case and was struck by the strength Kathleen Vitiello showed during the sentencing. It must have been incredibly difficult to address her brother in court and express her feelings so openly. The fact that she had to relive that trauma in front of everyone is unimaginable. It’s hard to wrap my head around how family dynamics can become so tragic. My thoughts are with Kathleen and the rest of the McHugh family as they try to navigate their lives after such a terrible loss. Does anyone know if she’s spoken publicly about how she’s coping now? It would be interesting to hear more about how she’s finding ways to heal.
