I'm absolutely devastated to hear about what happened to Miguel Mayen at that birthday party. It's hard to imagine the trauma and fear that everyone at the party, especially the kids, must have felt. I read that there was at least one arrest, but it's baffling that the motive still isn't clear. Why would anyone target such an innocent gathering? My heart goes out to Miguel's family and everyone who witnessed such a horrific event. It just makes you wonder about the broader issues of violence in New Orleans at that time. Was this escalation tied to something bigger, or just a random act of violence that spiraled out of control? Sending love and strength to all affected.
