I’ve been following the case closely, and one thing that really stood out to me was how quickly the community came together after Cedrick Miller's tragic death. Even though I've never met Cedrick, it's clear from all the tributes and vigils held in his honor that he was deeply loved and respected. It’s just unimaginable what his family and friends must be going through right now. The fact that the shooting happened so close to an elementary school is terrifying. It's one thing to hear about violence on the news, but it’s another when it affects a place meant for learning and safety. I can't help but think of all the parents and kids who had their lives disrupted that day and how they must still feel on edge. That temporary lockdown probably saved them from direct harm, but the emotional impact will likely linger. What really gives me some hope is seeing how the Modesto Police handled the situation, especially with the arrest of Owens. It must have taken a lot of work to piece everything together, and I’m grateful for their dedication. I’m hopeful that the legal system will bring the justice Cedrick deserves, and that his family might find some peace knowing they have the community's support. What are your thoughts on how this might proceed in court?
