This whole case with Teodoro Gutierrez just sits so heavy on my mind. Something that really struck me was when the details about Mills' threats came out during the trial. I can't begin to imagine the burden Teo's girlfriend must be carrying, knowing that she was aware of those threats. It’s one of those situations where you can't help but wonder "what if?" – but hindsight is 20/20, and fear can do strange things to us. I hope she finds some peace and understands that the blame lies solely with Mills, not her. Teo sounded like such a dedicated guy, working late nights at the dairy to make ends meet. It’s devastating that an argument over something like a shared living situation and drug use could lead to such a violent end. I hope they've got everything in place to ensure Mills truly pays for this senseless act, and that Teo’s family and friends find some measure of justice and closure.
