I just wanted to take a moment to talk about how unfair it is that Eric Hadley's killer is still out there. New Orleans is such a fantastic city with so much life and culture, but the issue with unsolved violent crimes is terribly concerning. Eric was just sitting in his car, something most of us do every day without a second thought. It’s frustrating to think about how someone could do such a thing and just vanish without a trace. His passion for cars was something that so many people could relate to, and it hurts to think that his dreams and aspirations were cruelly taken away from him. I hope that his family, especially his little girl, finds the answers they need and the justice they deserve. Keep keeping Eric's spirit alive and supporting one another through this difficult time. Let’s not forget his story. ?

I was reading up about Eric Hadley Jr.’s case, and what struck me the most was his passion for cars and how he spent so much time at his friend's body shop. It’s beyond tragic to think his life was cut short in the very place he found joy—inside his car. As someone who knows the comfort and pride that comes from working on vehicles, I can’t help but feel a pang of sadness for Eric's family and friends who must be grappling with such an immense void. While we keep digging and discussing these cases, it's crucial we remember there’s a young daughter, parents, and siblings left behind in all this. Can’t imagine how tough this must be for them every day. New Orleans has its battles with violence, and it’s time for louder voices advocating for change. These stories need to lead to actions that ensure no more families are left without answers and justice. If anyone has more insights or memories about Eric, feel free to share. Let’s keep his story alive as we hope for resolution.

I've been following Eric Hadley Jr.'s case and something that really stands out to me is how deeply ingrained his passion for cars was – from working at a friend's body shop to just having a genuine love for vehicles. It makes me think about how hobbies and passions define us and connect us with others. It’s crushing to know that someone so young, with so much enthusiasm and potential, was taken in such a horrible way. I can’t even begin to imagine the pain his family must feel, especially his daughter who will grow up without knowing him. It's disturbing how these cases slip through the cracks, and justice seems like a distant hope. I hope that someday his family can find some peace and that his story brings more attention to the need for change in the city.
