It's so deeply upsetting to think about how Scottie Tripp Jr.'s loved ones must have felt receiving that life-shattering call in the early morning hours. I can't imagine the shock and trauma they've endured over the past years. It's reassuring to know that Bakersfield PD continued their investigation with persistence, leading to the arrests. But my heart aches for Scottie's family, who have had to navigate through the immense pain while waiting for justice to be served. The court proceedings must be incredibly difficult for them. I hope they find some peace in knowing that the community stands with them as they seek answers and justice.
