I came across Sergio Ortiz Perez's case and can't stop wondering about the lack of updates. It seems like many disappearances near the border go cold so quickly. What could be the challenges for investigators in these situations? The terrain, the mixed jurisdictions, or something else? It's unsettling to think there could be so little information about what actually happened after that day in 2017. Anyone have insights or thoughts on this? Or maybe even experience with similar border cases?
