Sergio Ortiz Perez, a 20-year-old Guatemalan national, was last seen on December 1, 2017, near McAllen, Texas. He was attempting to enter the United States illegally, possibly crossing the Rio Grande from Mexico into the U.S. through Hidalgo County. Ortiz Perez was part of a group of migrants and has not been heard from since that day.
