Even if justice still hasn't been served, these gatherings show how many lives Tahjier touched. It’s moments like this that remind us of the human side of these tragedies—he was just a kid with a life ahead of him, and seeing people come out to support his family speaks volumes. I recently came across the case of Tahjier Lafleur, and it's been haunting me. The fact that his life was cut short at just 17 is unfathomable. What really puzzles me is why he was on that particular lawn in East Oakland when his relatives lived miles away. It makes me wonder if he knew someone in that area or if he was lured there unknowingly.
I can't imagine what his family is going through, with no answers and a killer still out there. It must be a hard journey for them to find closure. I hope more people in the community find the courage to speak up if they know anything. Situations like these should remind us all to look out for one another and help bring justice to those who can't advocate for themselves. Any thoughts on why he might have been in that area? What more can be done to push this case forward?
