I recently came across this case and felt compelled to share my thoughts about Paul Schrager’s son, Theo. It must be incredibly difficult for him to process all of this, especially after being in the spotlight due to the profile in the San Francisco Chronicle. It breaks my heart to think about the additional burden of grief and trauma Theo must carry now, alongside the struggles they've already faced as a family dealing with homelessness. Paul's past may have been complicated, but he was clearly trying to turn things around for himself and his family. Does anyone know if there’s a community support system in place for Theo? It seems crucial that he has access to resources and people who can offer emotional and psychological support during this time. I'm hoping the community can rally around him and help him navigate this incredibly tough chapter in his life. If anyone has information on ways to offer support or reach out in solidarity, I'd love to hear about it.

I've been following this case closely and just can't stop thinking about Paul's girlfriend and the trauma she must be going through. Can you imagine being there during that horrific moment? Seeing someone you care about being taken away in such a violent way must leave wounds that are hard to heal. I'm glad she wasn't physically harmed, but the emotional scars are something entirely different. I hope she's getting all the support she needs to navigate this nightmare. It's a grim reminder of the vulnerabilities that come with living in precarious situations like they did. Rest in peace, Paul, and sending strength to his girlfriend and family. Anyone know if there's been any community efforts to support them or if they've been able to connect with local resources for help?
