Marcus J. Daniel, a 25-year-old University of Missouri student, was last seen in Columbia, Missouri, on December 6, 2002. Before his disappearance, Marcus left a goodbye note for his father and later mailed a letter to his mother postmarked from Chicago a few days after he was last seen. However, the letter did not provide any indication of his whereabouts or future plans. After sending these notes, Marcus vanished, and his family has not heard from him since.
