I've been following the case of Willie Parnell Boudreaux and I'm just struck by how senseless this act of violence was. I can only imagine what his family and friends are going through right now. What really gets to me is the fact that there were kids involved. A 14-year-old girl getting caught up in such a violent situation—something she shouldn't have had to endure. It's just so upsetting to think about how her life, and the lives of the others involved, have been forever changed.
