I've been following the Eric Castro case, and one aspect that I find really concerning is the fact that the suspect hasn't been apprehended yet. It's so unsettling to know that someone capable of such a violent act is still out there. What makes it even harder is thinking about Eric’s family and friends during this time as they try to process this immense loss while knowing the person responsible hasn't been caught.
I read that the shooter was a man in his early 20s, but that's such a broad description. I can't imagine what it's like for the detectives working on this, trying to piece together threads from that night. It must be so challenging with so little to go on. I really hope the ongoing investigation brings more witnesses forward who can offer vital information.
It’s during the times of community gatherings that we feel safest, and having such a tragedy occur during a celebration like a baby shower is just so devastating.
