Did anyone else notice the proximity of the crime scene to Fire Station 98 in Jonathan Peralta's case? I've been thinking about the response time given their close location. It's heartbreaking to imagine they were so near to help but couldn't prevent the tragedy. It just goes to show how unpredictable and sudden these violent incidents can be. I truly hope the presence of the fire station means there might be extra surveillance footage or eyewitnesses that could aid the investigation. It happened around 6:40 p.m., which is a pretty crucial time—people are out and about, maybe coming home from work or grabbing dinner. This had to be planned or the shooter was waiting for the right moment to strike. The fact that it was near a fire station makes it even more shocking—what a brazen act!
