Has anyone else thought about the financial stress officers might face, leading them to seek part-time jobs? I've been reading about Detective Horace Ford and can't help but wonder if he worked at the bank because of the added financial pressure of living in NYC. It just breaks my heart to think that he was trying to make ends meet when he had to face such a dangerous situation during what should’ve been a safer setting. It feels important to acknowledge the sacrifices law enforcement officers make, both on and off duty. My thoughts are with his family, and it's inspiring to see his name honored through the NYPD K-9 unit. What do you all think about the broader implications for officers who work additional jobs?
