I’ve been revisiting some of Paul C’s work lately, and it’s just incredible how much he shaped the sound of hip hop back then. I never had the chance to know him personally, but from what I've heard, he was the kind of guy who not only had immense talent but also had a genuine passion for helping others bring their vision to life. It's beyond tragic to think about all the music we’ll never get to hear because his life was cut short.
One thing I've been wondering about is the community’s reaction around the time of his murder. Does anyone know how his fellow artists showed their support for his family or how they might have kept his spirit alive in his absence? It just seems like he meant so much to so many people, and it would be comforting to know that his influence was felt and acknowledged by more than just the headlines.
