This case has always stuck with me, and today I found myself thinking about the repercussions for the nightclub owners where Frank DiNapoli was working that tragic night. I can't help but feel for the owners and staff who witnessed such a tragic event. It must have been incredibly traumatic for everyone involved. Not only did they lose a brave officer and a kind soul, but their business was the scene of such a horrific event. I wonder what changes, if any, were implemented after all of this to ensure safety and prevent something like this from happening again. My heart goes out to the community and all who knew him. It's a tough reminder that our protectors are never truly off duty. If anyone has more info on what happened to the nightclub after, I'd love to hear more about it.
