I can't stop thinking about Julio's role as a promoter for that cocktail brand. It seemed like he was really doing well for himself and had a bright future ahead. It's just so sad to see such a young man, who was actively working to make something of his life, have it all taken away in an instant. It must be incredibly difficult for his family to grapple with this loss, especially Natasha, knowing how much potential he had. I hope with the arrest of Sheldon Smith, the family can find some sense of closure, but I can't imagine anything will truly fill the void left by Julio's passing. Does anyone know if there have been any updates on the investigation or any additional charges? Sending love and strength to everyone touched by this tragedy.

Just revisiting this case and wanted to focus on the community's response following Julio Mora's tragic death. I’ve read that there were several vigils organized in South Jamaica in honor of Julio, and it's touching to see how the neighborhood rallied together. It’s often in these heavy moments that you see the real strength and compassion of a community. They didn't just gather to mourn but also to spread awareness about the impacts of gun violence. Bringing people together like this can sometimes help push for change, and I hope it provided some comfort to Julio's family to see their community standing in solidarity with them. ? What also struck me is how vocal the local residents became afterward, urging for more safety measures in the area. It feels so important to carry on such conversations, even when it’s hard to talk about it. Keeping Julio's memory alive this way ensures that his story continues to have an impact, and hopefully, it can help prevent further tragedies. My heart goes out to everyone affected by this senseless violence.
