Has anyone else been following the Eric Lantimo case over the years? I can't stop thinking about how his family must be feeling, still without answers after all this time. What really baffles me is the lack of eyewitnesses coming forward. It happened in a pretty busy area, right outside an apartment building. You would think someone might have seen something or heard something. There's a lot of frustration towards the NYPD, but I can't help but wonder if there's more to the story. Was there really nobody around who could help? Or is there a bigger reason why witnesses are staying silent? Keeping hope alive for Eric's loved ones and hoping they get the justice they deserve soon. Anyone have any insight or thoughts on this?

Hey everyone, I’ve been following Eric Lantimo's case, and something that's been on my mind is the community’s response and their efforts to keep his memory alive. It’s genuinely moving to see friends and family come together, holding vigils and rallies to demand justice and remember Eric. These acts not only honor his memory but also work to raise awareness about the persistent issue of gun violence in the area. From what I've read, there were multiple gatherings in East Flatbush where Eric’s loved ones and local activists called for more action from the authorities. It’s really heartbreaking that families have to fight so hard just to get answers for something so tragic. I think it highlights how vital community support and public pressure are in keeping cases like this from fading into obscurity. I can't help but wonder if increased community involvement could lead to more witnesses coming forward or even just keep the investigation active. It’s clear that the community cared deeply for Eric, and they’re not willing to let this go. My thoughts are with his family and everyone affected. Anyone else have thoughts on how these community efforts might impact cold cases like Eric’s?

Hey everyone, I feel deeply for Eric Lantimo's friends and family; this tragedy surely weighs heavily on their hearts. I was hoping someone might shed light on how supportive the local community has been throughout the years. It seems like the kind of thing that might rally neighbors and friends together, especially with how gun violence affects so many families in Brooklyn. Was there ever a vigil or a community meeting following his murder? Sometimes these gatherings help not just to honor the victim's memory but also to encourage folks who might know something to speak up. If anyone has insight or updates on community efforts or how they've been working with the NYPD, please share. Solidarity and support from the community could be critical in cracking this case and ensuring those responsible are brought to justice. Sending strength to all who knew Eric. Stay safe, everyone.
