Has anyone else been following the Travis Williams case? It's been so long, and my heart really goes out to his family. I recently read that the New Orleans Police Department is still struggling to find any solid leads. What's troubling is the idea that someone out there knows exactly what happened on that terrible day and still hasn't come forward. I can’t imagine how hard it must be for Travis’s loved ones to continue without answers.
The fact that this was a targeted attack makes it even more chilling. This wasn't random, and yet the person responsible is still out there. It’s a stark reminder of the urgent need for community involvement. I hope people who might know something find it in themselves to speak up, even if it is anonymously through Crimestoppers. Small bits of information could be the key to solving this, and Travis's family deserves justice and some form of peace.
If anyone has any theories or insights into how we can better help families like Travis's in cases like these, I’d be interested to hear your thoughts. It's important that our community supports each other in times like this.
Hey everyone,
I came across the tragic story of Travis Williams, and one aspect that's really sticking with me is the setting of the crime. Travis was working under a house when he was tragically shot. It just makes me think about how someone was able to carry out such a violent act in what seems like such a confined and vulnerable space. It’s unsettling to imagine how surprised and defenseless he must have been in that moment.
It breaks my heart for Travis’s family, knowing their loved one was taken in such a brutal way, and while he was simply doing his job. The thought of them still waiting for answers all these years later is just unimaginable. No family should have to go through this.
If anyone has information—even if it seems small or insignificant—please consider reaching out to the authorities. Every detail could be crucial in helping bring some justice and peace to the people Travis left behind. Let’s support each other in making our communities safer and showing that violence like this won’t go unanswered.
Hoping for justice,

I keep thinking about the community's silence around Travis Williams' murder. This case didn’t just affect his family, who are deep in grief, but it also impacts all of us here in New Orleans. It feels like there’s a veil over what happened that day on North Salcedo Street. How could something so chilling take place at four in the afternoon, in broad daylight, and still remain unsolved?
I’ve been reading up on other incidents around the area, and it seems like there’s a pattern of these cases going cold. It's frustrating and, honestly, scary. We need to ask ourselves what it will take for someone to come forward. What kind of environment are we creating if we allow fear to silence us? We owe it to Travis and his family to keep talking about this and keep pressing for answers. If anything, it reminds us to look out for each other because every little bit helps, and sharing what we know could be the key to ensuring justice is served. If anyone has ideas on how to keep public interest alive in these unsolved cases, I'm all ears.
