I've been thinking about the hard impact this tragedy had on Song Shim's mother, who had to make the absolutely devastating discovery. It's hard to even imagine the pain and shock she must have endured walking into such a traumatic scene, expecting an ordinary day, and instead facing a nightmare. This aspect of the case is haunting.
While the police described it as a closed case due to the evidence found, the emotional aftermath for the family, especially her mother, can't be understated.
